Convergence is a global community exploring and enabling the convergence of blockchains and other decentralisation technologies with artificial intelligence, autonomous robotics, the Internet of Things, 3D printing, & blended realities. This event will explore how convergence will impact, transform and disrupt the FinTech, RegTech and LawTech industries. As well as bringing you an international conversation on what is happening outside Hong Kong we will be gathering the latest developments in Hong Kong to feed back to Europe. Dr. Andy Chun | Associate Professor, City University of Hong Kong Dr. Chun has over three decades of research and development inArtificial Intelligence, focusing on planning, scheduling, optimisation and machine learning. Bob Crozier | Associate Director | AIA Edge Bob is Associate Director for AIA Edge with responsibility delivering tangible use cases for emerging technologies for Business Unit and function assessment. This includes AI, Blockchain and Digital Health Initiatives and applications that affect all parts of the business. Doug Irwin | Founder | Chain of Things Doug has extensive full stack experience in design, manufacturing, R&D, and distribution across a broad range of products. Having spent over a decade working with connected devices, Doug has launched products ranging from youth electronics to regulatory environmental sensors for resource conservation. All initiatives focus on novel cross industry applications of small powerful sensors as they grow beyond their smartphone origins. Paul du Long | Managing Director | Otonomos Paul lived in Singapore for almost two years and recently made a big change in environment by relocating to Hong Kong this year. His mission is to set-up the Hong Kong branch of their start-up Otonomos - originally founded in Singapore 2015. Otonomos offers an online dashboard to manage your entities entirely online, eradicating all analogue paperwork. Its goal is to form, fund and govern entities completely online. Before Otonomos, Paul started several start-ups in the Netherlands mostly combining his passion for business, blockchain and technology. His objective is to make blockchain technology commercially applicable and use this brave new technology to solve real business issues.
